Abstract
The electric hotplate is described has a laminated structure in which the heating element comprises strips of positive temp. coefft. of resistance material R on an insulating substrate. The strips are connected in a series parallel arrangement between conductors A,X,Y,Z and B. The interconnecting conductors X,Y and Z are of a material with a negative temp. coefficient of resistivity.
