Abstract
The compsn. consists of a water-insol. cationic textile softener and a 12-40C hydrocarbon, in a wt. ratio of 5:1 to 1:3, in aq. medium. The softener pref. is a quat. ammonium salt with two 12-24C alkyl chains and the hydrocarbon a 16-24C paraffin or olefin. The compsn. can also contain a water-soluble cationic surfactant, pref. an ammonium salt with alk(en)yl or alk(en)oxyalkyl and opt. oxyalkylene substits.
