Abstract

Compsn. contains active constituent isobutyric acid 3-trifluoromethyl-4-nitroanilide. Used for topical treatment by virtue of the antiandrogenic activity. Composn. is well tolerated by local application. A typical lotion for application 2 or 3 times daily contained the anilide (2.5g) and essence of lemon and bergamot (0.1kg) in propylene glycol to a total of 100g.
