Abstract

The present invention has along the optical axis from the object side a first lens (L1) that has negative refractive power a second positive lens (L2) that has a meniscus shape with the convex surface thereof facing the object side an aperture stop (S) and a third lens (L3) that is shaped such that a convex surface thereof faces the object side. The present invention satisfies conditional expression (1): 6.6<|f12/f| … (1) where f12 represents the composite focal length of the first lens (L1) and the second lens (L2) and f represents the focal length of the entire optical system (WL).
