Abstract

An aqueous cationic polyurethane dispersion coagulating acids and a reactive crosslinking moiety are disclosed for use as pretreatment for digital printing on substrates such as textiles and garments. The pretreatment comprises a polyurethane having properly positioned tertiary amino groups generally protonated or quaternized in combination with a reactive crosslinker coagulating acid and some di or polyvalent metal ions.
