Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A HYDRAULIC BINDER COMPRISING IN PARTS BY MASS: (A) 40 TO 70 PARTS OF A PORTLAND CLINKER; (B) 30 TO 60 PARTS OF FLY ASH; (C) OPTIONALLY UP TO 30 PARTS OF AN INORGANIC MATERIAL OTHER THAN CLINKER OR THAN FLY ASH; (D) 2.5 TO 15 PARTS OF AN ALKALI METAL SALT EXPRESSED IN PARTS OF EQUIVALENT NAO RELATIVE TO 100 PARTS OF FLY ASH; AND (E) 2 TO 14 PARTS OF SULPHATE EXPRESSED IN PARTS OF SO RELATIVE TO 100 PARTS OF CLINKER; THE FLY ASH HAVING A DV97 LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 40 ?M AND THE SUM OF (A) (B) AND (C) BEING EQUAL TO 100.
