THE INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT (1) WHICH HAS A WIND ENERGY INSTALLATION (2) FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRIC POWER TO AN ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM (22) COMPRISING THE FOLLOWING STEPS: ELECTRIC POWER (P) IS PRODUCED FROM WIND BY MEANS OF THE WIND ENERGY INSTALLATION (2) A FIRST PORTION (P) OF THE ELECTRIC POWER (P) PRODUCED IS SUPPLIED TO THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM (22) A SECOND PORTION (P) OF THE ELECTRIC POWER (P) PRODUCED IS SUPPLIED TO AN ELECTRICAL LOAD (6) FOR CONSUMING THE SUPPLIED SECOND PORTION (P) OF THE ELECTRIC POWER (P) PRODUCED AND WHEREIN ON THE BASIS OF AT LEAST ONE MONITORED SYSTEM STATE AND/OR ON THE BASIS OF THE PREVAILING WIND THE SECOND PORTION (P) OF THE ELECTRIC POWER (P) PRODUCED WHICH IS SUPPLIED TO THE LOAD (6) IS REDUCED WHOLLY OR IN PART AND THE FIRST PORTION (P) OF THE ELECTRIC POWER (P) WHICH IS SUPPLIED TO THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM (22) IS ACCORDINGLY INCREASED AND TO AN APPROPRIATE SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT.
