Abstract

Provided is an electrode material for a secondary battery which has decreased contact resistance between the electrode material and the active material layer. A current collector (the electrode material) (1) is provided with a substrate (1a) including a metal foil and a conductive material (1b). The conductive material (1b) contains carbon black with a BET specific surface area of 300m/g or less and the amount of carbon black adhered per unit area of the surface of the substrate (1a) is 400mg/m or less.
