Abstract
WIND TURBINE GENERATOR SYSTEM A wind turbine gene rator system (1) for generating electric power from wind power includes an AC/DC conversion unit (21a), a converter cooling fan (21b), a rotation speed detection sensor (33), and a cooling control unit (11). The AC/DC conversion unit (21a) converts the electric power generated. The converter cooling fan (21b) cools the AC/DC conversion unit (21a). The rotation speed detection sensor (33) acquires wind condition data. The cooling control unit (11) controls an operation of the converter cooling fan (21b) in accordance with the wind condition data acquired by the rotation speed detection sensor (33).
