Abstract

Disclosed is a method and system for enabling an electronic reader embedded on e-learning system. The system comprises a Graphical User Interface (GUI) module, a receiving module, a capturing module, a generating module, a database and a communication module. The GUI module is configured to display a first content object on the electronic content reader to one or more users connected on the online e-learning platform. The receiving module is configured to receive an electronic input signal from a user to highlight a first sub-content object in the first content object. The capturing module is configured to capture first metadata associated with the first sub-content object. The generating module is configured to generate a second content object comprising the first sub-content highlighted based on the first metadata. The database is configured for storing the second content object. The communication module is configured to share the second content object to another user in real-time. To be published with Figure 2
