Description
A Throwing-!nserting Skills Play-Game Mario David Karp ISRAEL The purpose of the game of the skill of throwing/inserting into hole/s,is to try and control the parts of the game while performing harmonious and adequate movements of the body in order to try and succeed in throwing/inserting the two solid corps one into the other. The manners and nature of the throw.holding and inserting into the hole are called rules and styles of the game. It is possible to play the game competitively and/or for leisure. It is appropriate for the age- groups controlling the body movements. In the search for precedent identical or similar games we found the following: 1 ) In the English Patent no.580563, from 1944, named Game Apparatus, nevertheless, we found that it does not enter the field of throwing/ inserting into hole/s, mainly because the performance and objective of the English Patent are contrary. In short, the thrown body must penetrate one of the places intended for it in the handle, when in the present game of skill, the pin of the handle must penetrate the thrown body (the body having holes). In addition, when its form does not enable at all the performance of the tasks of the game of throwing/inserting into hole/s. Therefore, we are dealing with two completely different games. 2) In the English Patent no. 5999559, from 1945, named Toys, like in the former patent, the actions are contrary compared to the game of throwing/inserting into hole/s. Here too, the thrown body must penetrate the held body, its form is also different, and in addition none of the actions performed by the game of throwing/inserting into hole/s can be performed by the English Patent.
Therefore, we are dealing with two different games. 3) ln the German Patent no. 1905753, from 1970, named Spielzeug, in spite of the similarity existing in various parts composing it, in comparison to the throwing/inserting into hole/s, showed significant differences, both in form and performance, and basically the holding it.
In the German Patent you have to hold both bodies together, whereas in the manufa ire and the objective of the erman atent are inten e or transferring the entire leading body through the channels in the other body and taking it out from the other side; whereas in the throwing/inserting game such a possibility doesn't exist, since only the pin in the handle penetrates the insertion holes and goes out in the same direction, and doesn't go through. In short, there is no possibility to perform the objectives of one of the games in the other and vice versa. Therefore, we are dealing with two completely different games. 4) The three former citations are not games, but toys, according to their definition and function.
Figure a frontal view of the game. The body [1] is made of soli materia , such as wood, plastic or similar materials, and constitutes a handle for the game, when in the place of its balance there is a groove [4] in which the second solid body [6], also made out of a solid material such as:wood, plastic etc., is tied through the cord [3], made out of silk or other materials and which is strong, flexible and light so that it will let the two other bodies [6] and [1] carry out their performances; the cord [3] is connected to bodies [1] and [6], it is strong and secure in point [4] of the handle and in point [5] of the second solid body [6], in such a way that all the movements of the game will be done safely, without fear of a separation of the parts of the game. In continuation of the handle [1] both as a body and as a separate component.we shall find the throwing/inserting pin [2], whose diameter is always smaller than the holes[7] in the body [6] up to the base [10] on the handle [1]. These differences in diameters constitute the levels of difficulty of the game, since when the diameter of the pin [2] is smaller that the diameter of the holes [7], it is easier to perform the insertion. In the place where the pin [2] is connected to the handle or continues to it [1] you must enlarge the base of the pin [10] in order to secure the non-entrance of the handle [1] into the holes [7], but only the entrance of the pin [2]. The depth of the holes [7] is about the same as the length of the pin [2]. Near the holes[7],were printed the numbers [8], which constitute the score which the player will credited with in case he succeeds in a competitive game.
The player will lose if he misses. Moreover, the lines [9] too were drawn for competitive reasons, in case the amount of holes [7] will require more than one line, namely a few levels, so that the players could choose to score according to lines [9] too. In the basis [13] of the handle [1] it is possible to install, both as a continuation and a body of plastic, rubber etc. the component [12] intended to enable a stroke in the perforated body [6] before bringing it to an garne e ower par o e nser on p n w ere connec s w e handle [1] installed or as a continuation of the base[10] of the insertion pin [2], whose diameter must be greater than that of the insertion pin [2], in such a way that the transfer of the handle [1] through the holes [7] and oblige to take out the pin [2] only from where it came in. In the upper end of the insertion pin [2] or as a continuation of it, we can install the point of insertion [11],intended to serve as guiding-assistance for insertion and also to mark in the perforated body [6] the place of touching by covering the insertion point [11] by a chalk or another ad hoc material. Mode of play: holding the game only by one of the components, handle [1], cord [3] or body [6],when the other components which are thrown, are not held by the player.and in the end of the movement.must be performed the throwing/insertion of the pin [2] into the holes [7] or vice versa. According to the way of holding, the mode of throwing and the shapes drawn in the air by the components.we determine the styles of play.for example:the "knife" style, when the handle is held like a knife. When you succeed in scoring, there are bonuses among the rules of the game, when a player is allowed two additional throws in a double-hold, namely in one of the bodies [1] or [6] and the cord [3] simultaneously. The player loses his turn when he misses his shot, or shoots bonuses, and in this way the turn goes to the other player. ay- Hme or t row ng nsert on s s.
A game composed of three main parts: handle, cord, and the perforated body.AII components are made out of materials which maintain balance, strength, form and flexibility. The inserting holes and imprints on it, enables the performance of the adequate actions and movements for the purposes of the play, which are, to insert one body into the other, the perforated one.AII this.by observing the Play-Game's rules and styles, and requiring to the participants, harmony.concentration and compatible body movements to succes.
