Claims (4)

In order to prevent a turning of the switch button housing 1 while it is being used and when it is assembled/on a control panel (not shown), the groove 12 of the push butto housing 1 is provided with two integral diametrically opposed stops 13· Both edges of top 5 o units 2 and 3 are slightly set back relative the central wall 4 so that when push button housing 1 is inserted with its bottom into groove 7, stops 13 abut against the top edges of the unit and are held between them when they are assembled to the push button housing 1, thereby preventing its turning* Owing to the construction of units 2 and 3 they can on the one hand be easily inter-changed and on the other permit a number of units being connected in series, i.e. one behind the other, as indicated in dashed lines in Fig. 1 where a unit 2' is attached with its top edge into groove 11 of unit 2 and a unit 3* is attached with its top to groove 11 of unit 3, the units 2*, 3* being held to eaeh other b fingers 8,as above described* C L A I M S t

1. * Push buttons of the kind defined in which eaoh switch housing constitutes a unit, characterised in that the top and bottom of each unit has a substantially semi-circular profile, the top having an internal undercut peripheral groove and a tangentially projecting finger at one edge while at the diametrically opposite edge an external ramp followed by an abutment is provided, the bottom of the unit having an external unde out groove, the bottom of the push button housing being of circular profile and having a peripheral external undercut groove similar to that of the bottom of the unit, so that when the top of each unit is dressed from opposite sides onto the bottom o the push button housing^ the finger of one unit engages in the abutment of the othe t vhereby the unite are looked to each other, locking the push button housing betveen them*

2. * Push buttons of the kind defined, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the top edges of each unit are set back slightly while in the bottom groove of the push button housing diametrically opposed integral stAps are provided in such a manner that said stops abut the top edges of the unit and are held there betveen thereby preventing a turning of the push button housing*

3. * Push buttons of the kind defined, as claimed in claims 1 or , wherein said fingers are provided with an integral extension to facilitate their being lifted from contact with said abutment.
