Claims (6)
1. , Process for the transmission of digital symbol elemen ts emana ting from a data source over a time-multiplex* communication transmission system to a data receiving station whereby the digital symbol elements are transmitted i 1c dat time compartments such compartments being those which, at least temporarily, are not used for communication transmission out of all the p time compartments available in a pulse frame t which, so that the transmission of n digital symbol elements is possible in each data time compartment, characterised by the fact tha , at the transmitter end * the digital symbol elements emana ting from the data source and arriving a t the data input terminal (DE) into the respective data time compartment assigned to the particular da ta storage unit (GS ) J whereas at the receiver end, the group of digital symbol elements transmitted in each data time compartment is temporarily stored in a storag unit (S ) assigned to the particular data time compartment and tha t the groups of digital symbol elemen ts temporarily stored in the storage units (s ) are retransmitted within a ^ pulse frame through the da ta output terminal (DA) to the . data receiving aita iony
2. Process according to Claim 1 further ch acterised by the fact that, a t the transmitter end, the groups of digital symbol elements are picked up by the da ta storage unit (GS ) in parallel form and during the subsequent synchronisa tion »
3. Process according to Claim 1 for a PCM-time-mul lplex- communicatlon transmission system, further characterised by tho fact th t the transmitter end coder la blo^cked out for the duration of each data time compartment*

Circuit for tho Implementation of tho process according to Claim 1 characterised by the fact that at the transmitter end, for each data time compartment, a data storage unit (GS ) comprising n storage cells is available, said data storage unit being provided at the input side with a data input terminal (BE) whereas its output terminal (A) IS connected to the time-multlplex-comraunica ion transmission line (J*) through a first logical AND-gate Tl controlled by a time compartment selector stage (ZAS) which can be adjusted for any time compartment and one of each being equally available for each data time compartmentj that furthermore the frequency input terminals (τ) of the data storage, unit (08) are connected to the output- of a second logical AND-gate (T2) controlled by the time " . ' ■ ,· ■ , . p.n.-fold compartment selector stage (ZAS) and the/pulse frame frequency (TAS) and that at the receive end, for each da- a compartment, a storage unit S comprising n storage cells is equally available, its input connected to the time-multiplex-oommunication transmission line (N) and its output to data output terminal (DA)| and that furthermore the frequency input (τ) of the storage unit (s) is connected to the output of a logical AND- ate ¾ of which ~ one is available for each d ta time compartment, and which is co rolled by a tlmo compartment selector stage (ZAE) * .. . . · _ p.n. -fold adjustable for any time compartment and by a/pulse frame frequency (TAB)
5. Circuit according to Claim k characterised by the fact that each time oompartmetit selector stage (ZAS, ZAE) is provided with means of actuation (D) so it can* at any timet he brought into or put out of action*
6. Application of the process according to Claim 1 in PCM* time-multiplex-communication transmission systems.
