Claims (11)

: >> The claims defining the invention are as follows:
1. Low frequency distributor rack for communication equipment, in which two vertical angle rails are connected to cross rails, to which via horizontal supports two distributor fields, one for office fields and one for instrument fields, which are of identical design, are fastened, with a switching field, also fixed to the distributor rack, running between them, comprising that the distributor fields consist of wrap panels with connecting pins, by means of clipping! on, are. lined up on vertical flat rails which are fixed to the vertical supports, and that, the switching field consists of rails, having a number of vertical guides for the vertical orientation of switching cables, the guides consisting of at least two compartments, and that these guides can be clipped into position on the rails and on top of each other, and that to the forward sides of the rails hook shaped brackets are fastened on top of each other in such a way that at least every two of them are grouped such that they form at least two separate spaces. .·
2. Low frequency distributor rack according to Claim 1, comprising that the office cables respectively, the instrument cables can be tied by cable ties to the wrap panels and, via openings, can be connected to pins.
3. Low frequency distributor rack according to one of the previous Claims, comprising that the guides for vertical switching are plastic mouldings which have at least two compartments with slots for the entry of cables, that the web, connecting the two chambers is partially split to form an elastic vee with a slot at each free end, said slot being designed to engage the inner faces of a rectangular opening of the rails in a dip-on fashion. i
4. Low frequency distributor rack according to one of the previous Claims, comprising that the brackets for horizontal switching are extrusion die cast components and that they are subdivided into at least two areas with access openings.
5. Low frequency distributor rack according to Claim 4, comprising that the horizontal shanks of the hook shaped brackets have on one side a keyway, which at its rearward end expands into a chamber and that on one rib forming the keyway, a slot is provided. -j
6. Low frequency distributor rack according to Claim 5, comprising that further supplementary brackets can be attached to the brackets for horizontal switching.
7. Low frequency distributor rack according to the Claims 5 or 6, comprising that on one side near the free end of the horizontal shank of the supplementary bracket a guide rib, which fits into the keyway of the hook shaped brackets, and which protrudes rearwardly beyond the supplementary bracket to form a lug is provided; that near the forward end of the guide rib a nose is provided which is to brace the one rib of the keyway of the hook shaped bracket at its forward end; that to that side of the horizontal shank, that is opposite to the guide rib of the supplementary bracket, a leaf spring is fixed and protrudes with its forward turn up into an opening of the shank in such a way that, upon bottoming of the guide of the supplementary bracket in keyway of the hook shaped bracket, this turn up engages into a slot in the one rib of the hook shaped bracket.
8. Low frequency distributor rack according to one of the previous Claims, comprising that the wrap panels are, for the purpose of decoupling, equipped with plug-in elements instead of connecting pins, that the plug-in elements are a plastic housing with a cantilevered extension which after plugging on, covers at least part of the width of a row of the wrap panels in balcony-fashion, and that at least one wrap pin, in continuation of the wrap pin pattern, is fixed to the extension, and that further, and in particular, three wrap pins, are lined up on the plastic housing in such a fashion, that they protrude from the plastic housing only on the connecting side, and that the wrap pin in the cantilever is bent at right angles within the plastic housing, and that at least two further pins are fitted to the bent portion at centres corresponding at least to the distance of the wrap pin pattern row, said further pins protruding from the rear of the plastic part for the purpose of fixing the insulating panel of the wrap distributor, and that within the plastic housing the decoupling elements are arranged in such a manner that they establish a decoupling connection between the additional wrap pin and the other wrap pins of the plastic part.
9. Low frequency distributor rack according to one of the previous Claims, comprising that for the purpose of covering the distributor fields, a U-shaped extruded profile of transparent plastic material is used which, by means of pegs rivetted to spring strips, can be pivoted to swing away from its closing position by 90° to the left or to the right, and which clips into these positions by means of dimples, which drop into holes. -
10. Low frequency distributor rack according to Claim 9, comprising that the cover on its front and at its side portions is "equipped with cavities.
11. Low frequency distributor rack according to one of the preceding Claims, comprising that the horizontal supports are shaped in such a way that they can also serve as cross rails for the connection of the vertical angle rails.
