Claims (1)
1. CLAIMS Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions suitable for mel t ' processi ng into rigid products comprising (a) a vinyl chloride homopolymer, a vinyl chloride copolymer or mixtures thereof, (b) up to 150% by weight of the polymer of asbestos and (c) a stabilizer system which comprises 1-10% by weight of the polymer of at least one inorganic lead compound, at least 3% by weight of the polymer of epoxide ester and 3"20% by weight of the polymer of a compound selected from a polyol or a metal derivative thereof or a polyacetic acid derivative of amines. Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions suitable for melt processing into rigid products according to claim 1 , in which the polymer consists of a copolymer of vinyl chloride-propylene. > Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions suitable for melt processing into rigid products according to claim 1, in which the polymer consists of a mixture of copolymer of vinyl chloride-propylene and vinyl chloride homopolymer. Asbestos÷vi nyl chloride polymer compositions according to claims 1 to 3» in which the asbestos is selected from chrysotile, crocidolite, antophyllite and amosite. Asbestos-vinyl chloride compositions according to claims 1 to , in which the inorganic lead compound in the stabilizer system is selected from tetrabasic lead sulphate, tribasic lead sulphate, dibasic lead phosphite, basic lead carbonate, dibasic lead phosphate and lead silicate. Asbestos-vinyl chloride compositions comprising at least one inorganic lead compound in the stabilizer system according to claim 5, wherein the amount of inorganic lead compound is between 3 to 6% by weight of the polymer. Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions according to claims 1 to ft in which the epoxide compound in the stabilizer system is selected from epoxidized soybean and epoxidized 1 inseed oil. Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions according to claims 1 to in which the polyol or polyacetic acid derivative of amines in the stabilizer system is selected from sorbitol, pentaerythr i tol , sucrose, glycerol or the metal derivatives thereof, nitrilo triacetic acid and ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid. Asbestos-vinyl chloride polymer compositions suitable to be processed by compression, extrusion or injection mo ing according to any of the preceeding claims.
