Claims (5)

0LAIM3:
1. » A cooling tower having a shell of light construction, the shell being supported by a lattiee work: of pre-stressed cables connected to at least one strip ring and by centrally located centre post projecting above the upper edge of the shell, the strip ring being suspended from the centre post by means of inclined suspension cables, characterized in that the lattice work comprises two cable systems of inclined left - and right-ascehding diagonal cables, and a further, cable system, the diagonal cabled being connected to the diagonal cable at some or all cross-over points between them, whereby a net having triangular meshes is formed*
2. , A cooling tower according to claim 1, characterized in that the further cable system comprises meridian cables arranged in vertical plane .
3. |. A cooling towe according to claim 1, characterize in that the further cable system comprises annular cables routed in horizontal planes. \
4. A cooling towe according to claims 1 to 3» characterized in that at least one annular cable is suspended from the centre post by means of inclined suspension cables.
