A method of producing a device for sealiagly locating cable ducts or cable members relative to a shaft member, the device comprising a support device, which comprises at leaet one support element, the support element or elements defining a plurality of apertures extending from a first surface portion of the support dovico to a second aurface portion of the support device opposite the first surface portion, the support device boing adapted to permit the formation of a seal between the eupport device and a cable duct or cable member, when extending through any one of the apertures, the method comprising the step of moulding synthetic material to form in a single operation the support device and at least part of at least one aperture in the or each eupport element.
