Claims (6)
1. A method for exterminating rodents belonging to the genus? Muridae by applying to said rodents a rodentidually effective amount of a compound of the formula HNHCH„ NH- or 2 en or alkyl of 1 to 9 carbons and s hydrogen, cyano or lover alkyl.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein said compound is methylenebisd -thiosemicarbazide) .
3. A rodeaticide composition comprising 0.5 - 90 $ by weight of a compound of the formula S A - NH II NH2 s II wherein A represents H2 - C - NHNHCH^ NH- or epresents hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 9 hydrogen, cyano or lower alkyl, and 99*5 - 10$ by weight of a suitable adjuvant.
4. The composition of claim 3, wherein said compound as methylene-bis-(l-thiosemicarbazide) or an acid addition salt thereof.
5. The method of claim 1 wherein the composition of vlaii 3 is used for exterminating Muridae*
6. A method for preparing methylene bis 0-thiosemicarbazide) and formaldehyde thiosemicarbazone, characterized by reacting thiosemicarbazide with formaldehyde in acetonitrile. Tel-Aviv, September 3, 1972 - 15 -
