1. WO 2024/112543 PCT /0S2023/079898 more relative to the total weight of the tribromocumene mixture, and the unsubstituted tribromobenzenes are about 5 wt% or more, relative to the total weight of the mixture. 18. A process for preparing a tribromocumene mixture comprising 2,4,5-tribromocumeneand one or more unsubstituted tribromobenzenes, which process comprises contacting, under an inert atmosphere in a liquid organic medium, cumene and a brominating agent in the presence of a catalytic amount of aluminum chloride. 19. A process as in Claim 18 whereinthe brominating agent is elemental bromine; and/or aluminum chloride is in an amount of about 0.2 wt% to about 0.6 wt% relative to the cumene.
