a cylinder lock including a tumbler adapted to bring a locking element into locking
engagement with a notch formed in a locking bolt, the locking bolt being arranged
for sliding motion through a first bore formed in the first hasp member, and when
the second hasp member is aligned with the first hasp member, the locking bolt is
slidable into a second bore formed in the second hasp member so as to lock the [0001]
first and second hasp members together.

[0016] The term/s door and/or window, as referred to herein, is/are to be
used interchangeably and broadly construed as any closing element of an opening,
whether stationary or movable back and forth between an open position and a
closed position. Along with standard doors and/or windows, the term/s door and/or [0001]
window in a non-limiting manner also include/s: flaps, hatches, covers, vitrines and
the like.
[0017] The term matching or a term similar thereto, as referred to herein, is
to be construed as having a cross-sectional area and/or shape of a component
equal or essentially similar to a cross-sectional area and/or shape of another [0001]
component. It should be acknowledged that the components may only to be similar
in the cross-sectional areas and/or shapes, to satisfy the term matching or similar,
so long as the cross-sectional areas of the components can be mated and/or
inserted into each other and/or the combination thereof essentially fits together
and/or occupy essentially the same space. [0001]
[0018] The term structured, as referred to herein, is to be construed as
including any geometrical shape, exceeding in complexity a plain linear shape or a
shape embodying a simple and/or standardized circular, elliptical or polygonal
contour or profile. Any more complex shape than a plain linear shape or a shape
embodying a simple and/or standardized circular, elliptical or polygonal contour or [0001]
profile, constitutes an example of structured geometry.
[0019] The term modular, as referred to herein, should be construed as a

term modular inter alia means a standardized unit that may be conveniently installed
or deployed without significant impact to the environment. The term modular,
however, doesn’t necessarily mean providing for ease of interchange or
replacement. The term modular is optionally satisfied solely by providing for ease
of onetime deployment or installation. [0001]
[0020] The terms connected, coupled, connectable and in connection with
refers to any form of interaction between two or more entities, including mechanical,
electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, fluid, and thermal interactions. Components
can be operatively coupled to each other even though they are not in direct contact
with each other. The term "abutting" refers to items that are in direct physical contact [0001]
with one another, although the items do not necessarily have to be attached to one
another.
[0021] By operationally connected and operably coupled or similar terms

accumulate mechanical energy, by changing the configuration thereof, upon a force [0001]
exerted thereon, such as a compressive, tensile, shear or torsional force, as well as
for releasing the energy accumulated therein, by returning to the normal or default
configuration thereof and thereby performing a mechanical work, typically by linear
or radial displacement. Examples of biasing means in a non-limiting manner
include, springs, elastomers, leaf-springs, coil-springs, tension/extension spring, [0001]
compression spring torsion spring, constant spring, variable spring, variable
stiffness spring, flat spring, machined spring, serpentine spring, garter spring,

[0025] The terms method and process as used herein are to be construed
as including any sequence of steps or constituent actions, regardless a specific
timeline for the performance thereof. The particular steps or constituent actions of
any given method or process are not necessarily in the order they are presented in
the claims, description or flowcharts in the drawings, unless the context clearly
dictates otherwise. Any particular step or constituent action included in a given
method or process may precede or follow any other particular step or constituent
action in such method or process, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Any [0001]
particular step or constituent action and/or a combination thereof in any method or
process may be performed iteratively, before or after any other particular step or

meaning an interval of plus or minus ten percent (± 10%). For any embodiments
disclosed herein, any disclosure of a particular value, in some alternative
embodiments, is to be understood as disclosing an interval approximately or about
equal to that particular value (i.e., ± 10%).
[0030] As used herein, the terms about or approximately modify a particular [0001]
value, by referring to a range equal to the particular value, plus or minus twenty
percent (+/−20%). For any of the embodiments, disclosed herein, any disclosure of
a particular value, can, in various alternate embodiments, also be understood as a
disclosure of a range equal to about that particular value (i.e. +/−20%).
[0031] As used herein, the term or is an inclusive or operator, equivalent to [0001]
the term and/or, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise; whereas the term and

A method of door-contactless mounting a lockable fixture onto a jamb comprises: (a) providing a door-contactless jamb mountable lockable fixture comprises: (I) a jamb moiety comprising: (i) a jamb base part; (ii) at least one aperture formed in said jamb base part, configured to face a jamb of a door; (iii) at least one fastener operationally connectable to said at least one aperture, configured to firmly affix said jamb base part to said jamb; (iv) at least one member selected from the group consisting of: a notch and aperture, configured to operationally connect with an - 22 - interlocking element therein; (v) at least one structural element, configured to prevent a rotation of said jamb moiety relative to a door moiety; (II) a door moiety comprising: (i) a door part, mountable onto said jamb moiety; (ii) an essentially hollow encasement, configured to receive and accommodate a locking device therein; (iii) at least one member selected from the group consisting of: a notch and aperture, configured to operationally connect with said interlocking element; (iv) at least one structural element, configured to prevent a rotation of said door moiety relative to said jamb moiety; (III) a controllably lockable mechanism, configured for securing said door- contactless jamb mountable lockable fixture comprising: (i) an interlocking element, operationally connectable to said door moiety and operationally connectable to said jamb moiety; (ii) a locking device, operationally connectable to said at least one interlocking element; (iii) a key, configured to manipulate said locking device; (b) firmly affixing said jamb base part of said jamb moiety to said jamb, by operationally connecting said at least one fastener through said at least one aperture to said jamb; (c) disposing said at least one structural element of said jamb moiety in a predefined position relative to said at least one structural element of said - 23 - door moiety, (d) preventing a rotation of said jamb moiety relative to a door moiety; (e) operationally connecting said interlocking element of said controllably lockable mechanism to said at least one member in said jamb base part of said jamb moiety; (f) operationally connecting said interlocking element of said controllably lockable mechanism to said at least one member in said door part of said door moiety; (g) operationally interconnecting said jamb moiety to said door moiety by said interlocking element; (h) manipulating said locking device by said key, thereby securing said controllably lockable mechanism and said door-contactless jamb mountable lockable fixture in a closed configuration.
12. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said at least one fastener is selected from the group consisting of: a screw, bolt, clamp, nail and rivet.
13. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said controllably lockable mechanism is a padlock, wherein said interlocking element is a shackle of said padlock.
14. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said at least one structural element, configured to prevent a rotation of said jamb moiety relative to said door moiety and said at least one structural element, configured to prevent a rotation of said door moiety relative to said jamb moiety form an interlocking arrangement. - 24 -
15. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said controllably lockable mechanism is a straight shackle padlock, wherein said interlocking element is a straight shackle of said straight shackle padlock.
16. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said controllably lockable mechanism forms an integral part of said essentially hollow encasement of said door moiety.
17. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said door moiety is configured to essentially obstruct an access to said at least one aperture formed in said jamb base part.
18. The method, as in claim 11, wherein said door moiety embodies an essentially T-shaped form and said jamb moiety embodies an essentially U-shaped form.
19. The method, as in claim 11, wherein in a closed configuration said jamb base part forms an essentially planar conformation with said door part.
20. The method, as in claim 11, wherein in a closed configuration said jamb base part forms an essentially orthogonally shaped conformation with said door part.
