DETAILED DETAILED DETAILED DETAILED DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION The invention will be understood from the following detailed description of embodiments of the invention, which are meant to be descriptive and not limiting. For the sake of brevity, some well-known features are not described in detail.
The reference numbers have been used to point out elements in the embodiments described and illustrated herein, in order to facilitate the understanding of the invention. They are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting. Also, the foregoing embodiments of the invention have been described and illustrated in conjunction with systems and methods thereof, which are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting.
In some embodiments, the smartphone stand may allow automatic adjustment of the position of the smartphone. It may include sensors which detect a position of the user in front of the camera and an electromechanical mechanism which adjusts the position of the smartphone so that the camera is directed at the user. Optionally, the user may manually adjust the position of the smartphone.
In some embodiments, the system may include an air blower to create air movement to simulate a gust of wind blowing on the user’s hair and/or clothes. The blower may include movable shutters and detectors.
In some embodiments, the smartphone automatically connects to a social network chosen by the user, for example, Instagram and Facebook, among others.
Fig. 1 depicts the mirror apparatus according to one embodiment of the invention.
An aspect of the present invention relates to a smart mirror apparatus 10 for use in advertising and marketing including a mirror 22 and means to connect the Internet.
Smart mirror 10 connects to the internet via wifi of the store.
If the user wants to connect to smart mirror 10 and get a reward, he can connect to smart mirror mirror by scanning the barcode and to follow the application instructions.
Smart mirror 10 includes a camera 18, and a stand 50 to which camera 18 is attached and which allows adjusting the position of camera 18 so that its camera may be directed at the user.
Mirror apparatus 10 includes a mirror 22; a stand 50 for erecting mirror 22; wheels 26 for transporting stand 50; a motor 52A for rotating (56A) each wheel 26 about its axle 54A; step motors 52B for determining angle of each wheel 26 by rotating (56B) it about the stand’s hinge 54B; a camera 18; a screen 62 for displaying the image taken by camera 18; a user interface 60 which may be wireless; and a controller 58 for controlling motors 52A and 52B according to user interface 60 and imaging of camera 18.
Fig. 2 is a front view of the mirror apparatus of Fig. and the first step of using it.
The following is described by steps. However, it may be done without steps. 25 At the first step, the user stands in front of mirror 22, and selects a desired position providing a reflected image 64A viewed by the user.
Fig. 3 is the front view of Fig. 1 at the second step.
At the second step, the user makes camera 18 capture the user, and displays the image 64B of user 66 on screen 62.
Fig. 4 is the front view of Fig. 1 at the third step.
At the third step, the user controls the magnification of camera 18, for the changing the size and location of image 64B of the user within screen 62 to equal to reflected image 64A viewed via mirror 22 by the user.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the mirror apparatus of Fig. 1 and the fourth step of use.
Mirror 22 is disposed between screen 62 and user 66.
User 66 views screen 62 through mirror 22, since mirror 22 is a semi transparent mirror.
At the fourth step, being while the user 66 walks, controller 58 controls motors 52A and 52B (Fig. 1) to move stand 50 as a function of the user’s walking.
Fig. 6 is the front view of Fig. 1 while and after the user walks.
The function of the moving is for maintaining characters such as the size and displacement of image 64C of the user within screen 62 captured by camera 18, constant, i.e., equal to the size and location of image 64B, without changing the magnification of camera 18.
The constant character may include maintaining the angle of the position of the user.
A plurality of distance meters 30 and an image processor may maintain the characters.
Referring to Fig. 2 and Fig. 6, mirror apparatus 10 thus provides that reflected image 64A provided by mirror 22, being prior to the user’s walking, and reflected image 64D being while and after the user’s walking are equal regarding the size and angle of view.
For example, in case the user rotates himself, mirror will rotate around the user while maintaining the distance from the user.
The user stands in front of the mirror and the camera at the angle he now chooses, sees himself in the mirror, adjusts the zoom of the camera so that his body occupies a selected area of the screen surface, and then freezes the reference state.
In this mode, the camera measures the number of pixels that are the width between the shoulders, as well as the number of pixels that are the distance between the nose and the height where the legs begin to expand.
From here on, the user moves, then the camera, without changing the zoom set in the freeze mode, drives 25 the cart's/stand’s motors in a way that maintains the number of pixels of the reference state, meaning that the cart will maintain a fixed distance and angle from the user, and then, the user sees himself in the mirror all the time according to the reference state.
The user can control via remote smartphone where he can cancel the freeze mode, then choose a new photo position, which he freezes.
Unlike prior art tracking systems, mirror apparatus provides that user 66 sees himself in mirror 22 all the time according to the reference state, and transmits (23) this image by web socket 19.
Fig. 10 is a side view.
Screen 62 is integrated with a computer 63. Screen 62 and computer 63 may constitute together a large smartphone.
User 66 may press on semi-transparent mirror 22, for pressing therethrough by finger 67 on screen 62, being a touch screen, for controlling the camera, and for communicating (23) computer 63 with the cash register 23 of the store.
Thus, user 66 in a clothing store, may view himself on screen 62 further to mirror 22, wearing a clothing, and use the same screen 62 immediately to purchase the clothing.
Thus, in one aspect, the invention is directed to a mirror apparatus (10), including:  a semi-transparent mirror (22) being erected;  a computer (63) including a touch screen (62) attached to the semi-transparent mirror (22) therebehind, the touch screen (62) for being viewed by a user (66) through the semi- transparent mirror (22), and for operating the touch feature of the screen (62) through the semi-transparent mirror (22); and  a camera (18) attached to the semi-transparent mirror (22), for capturing the user (66) for displaying thereof on the screen (62), thereby the user views himself by reflectance of the mirror (22), and further by the screen (62) through transparency of the mirror (22), wherein the computer (63) is communicative with a cash register (83) via the touch screen (62).
The mirror apparatus (10) may further include:  a web socket (19), for transmitting (23) the capturing of the user (66), thereby transmitting captures corresponding to at least one image (64A) reflected by the mirror (22) to the user (66).
The mirror apparatus (10) may further include:  a controller (58) for equalizing at least one character of the capturing of the user (66) with at least one image (64A) reflected by the mirror (22) to the user (66).
