Description

ו הטיש ןקתמ תריגסל תיקש הזירא וא A METHOD AND A DEVICE FOR ENCLOSING OR PACKING A BAG TECHNICAL FIELD id="p-1" id="p-1"
[001] Some embodiments described herein are generally relayed to a device for enclosing a bag or packing and more specifically to a device for enclosing delivery bags, delivery boxes or envelopes.
BACKGROUND id="p-2" id="p-2"
[002] The use of delivery services from food providers or other merchants has become very common during the recent years. Before dispatching delivery, bags containing the delivered goods need to be safely enclosed. There are various ways to enclose delivery bags with low degree of tamper evident closure, such as staples, rubber bands and adhesive strips. However, most of the existing methods allow opening and reclosing the bag without leaving any noticeable evidence that the bag has been tampered with during the delivery. The use of such methods for enclosing delivery bags creates the risk that an unauthorized person would access the contents of the bag during delivery without the client who ordered it being able to notice it. id="p-3" id="p-3"
[003] Thus, there is a need to find a solution that solves the above-described problem of opening a delivery bag by unnotarized persons.
SUMMARY id="p-4" id="p-4"
[004] Embodiments related to a device for fastening a bag is described hereinbelow by the way of example only. The term "bag" in this disclosure should be interpreted as any type of closeable container, including without limitation, bags, boxes or envelopes. id="p-5" id="p-5"
[005] One embodiment may include a device for fastening a bag comprising: a first portion having a receiving slot operably coupled to a connecting portion at one edge, a second portion operably coupled to the connecting portion at a second edge, wherein the connecting portion is configured to be used as a hinge between the first portion and the second portion; at least one protruding portion fixed on the second portion having a cutting edge facing the connecting portion and a locking element; wherein the device is configured to fasten a bag by fastening the first portion and the second portion to each other around the bag such that the protruding portion punctures through the bag until the locking element is locked on the receiving hole and fasten the first portion to the second portion to provide a fastened bag; and wherein the device is configured to open the fastened bag by pulling the connecting portion along the bag, such that the cutting edge cuts off a fastened edge of the fastened bag. id="p-6" id="p-6"
[006] For example, the protruding portion is fixed on a foldable lever tab attached on one side to the second portion and is to fit into a foldable lever receiving hole, and wherein the protruding portion is configured to lock into the receiving slot by pressing a foldable lever tab into the foldable lever receiving hole in the second portion. id="p-7" id="p-7"
[007] For example, the device is used with one or more fastening devices to close the bag along an open edge of the bag based on a shape created by a content of the bag. id="p-8" id="p-8"
[008] For example, the device comprises a housing portion, wherein the housing portion is configured to cover the protruding portion. id="p-9" id="p-9"
[009] For example, the housing portion is a rectangular box. id="p-10" id="p-10"
[010] For example, a shape of the housing portion is based on a shape of the protruding portion. id="p-11" id="p-11"
[011] For example, the protruding portion is operably coupled to a folded section substantially externally extending from the second portion and configured to insert the protruding portion into the receiving slot by folding the folding section into a folded section space on the surface of the second portion. id="p-12" id="p-12"
[012] For example, at least one of the portions comprises a curved edge which is configured to provide a gap to slide the device on the bag. id="p-13" id="p-13"
[013] For example, at least one of the curved edges comprises a perforation configured to be breakable from the first portion and the second portion. id="p-14" id="p-14"
[014] For example, at least one of the portions of the device comprises a perforation configured to break an edge of the first portion or an edge of the second portion. id="p-15" id="p-15"
[015] For example, the second portion comprises a stopper that is operably coupled to the connecting portion to stop the bag from sliding into the connection portion interior. id="p-16" id="p-16"
[016] For example, the first portion comprises a stopper that is operably coupled to the connecting portion to stop the bag from sliding into the connection portion interior. id="p-17" id="p-17"
[017] For example, the second portion comprises at least one locking pin configured to lock the first portion to the second portion. id="p-18" id="p-18"
[018] For example, the second portion comprises a connecting portion configured to connect a detachable protruding portion to the second portion, wherein the first portion comprises a receiving hole. id="p-19" id="p-19"
[019] For example, the second portion comprises a pin base configured to connect a detachable pin portion to the second portion, wherein the first portion comprises a receiving hole. id="p-20" id="p-20"
[020] For example, the protruding portion is operably coupled to the second portion by perforation, which is configured to break and separate the protruding portion from the second portion after fastening by pulling one of the first portion or the second portion from each other. id="p-21" id="p-21"
[021] For example, the protruding portion comprises a pin portion, which is operably coupled to the second portion by perforation, which is configured to break and separate the pin portion from the second portion when after fastening pulling at least one of the first portion and the second portion. id="p-22" id="p-22"
[022] For example, the pin portion comprises a blade-shaped edge. id="p-23" id="p-23"
[023] For example, the device is configured to tighten the bag around a content of the bag before locking the locking element into the receiving slot by fastening the first portion and the second portion together around the bag and sliding the device downward based on the content of the bag. id="p-24" id="p-24"
[024] For example, the device of claim comprises a second protruding portion on the first portion adjacent to the connecting portion and a second receiving slot on the second portion opposite to the second protruding portion, and wherein the second protruding portion is configured to be locked into the second receiving slot when fastening the first portion with the second portion. id="p-25" id="p-25"
[025] It is understood from the present disclosure described a solution for shortcomings in the field of art. More specifically, A device and a method for fastening a bag and enabled tamper evident proof seal.
