Abstract

The patch panel (10) monitoring arrangement has patch cables (20) that can be plugged into connections (11) in the patch panels with plugs (21), whereby each plug is fitted with a transponder (22), and readers (12) with reader coils (13), whereby each connection in a patch panel is fitted with a reader coil or a reader and the readers have data connections to an evaluation unit (30).
