Description

Method and insertion frame for installing a shaft door of a lift installation Inventio AG C. 140523 DESCRIPTION Method and insertion frame for installing a shaft door of a lift installation The invention relates to a method of installing a shaft door of a lift installation and to an insertion frame for the installing of a shaft door of a lift installation.
A jig to facilitate preparation of the door openings for a lift door during erection of a building is known from the specification US 3 984 952. The jig is' fastened at a door guide, which is already installed within the shaft, by fastening means and positioned at the desired position. As the jig has the desired door opening size plus 2.5 cm tolerance at each side, the wall with the door opening is concreted up to the jig. After use thereof the jig is completely removed. The door opening for the shaft door, which is insertable later, then arises. A disadvantage of the proposed jig is the fact that the door guides of the shaft door have to be installed already before the construction of the shaft wall. Moreover, in this building stage it is extremely difficult to determine the exact position of the shaft doors. When the final door frame is installed, this has to be readjusted. A further disadvantage in this known solution is the fact that due to the removal of the jig the interface between the concreted wall and the jig can still be damaged. The masoner or plasterer must then be re-employed and the wall with the door opening reworked, this time, however, without the presence of the jig. These subsequent finishing operations need time and additional coordination between the lift engineers and the masoners or plasterers. The installation times are thereby substantially increased. The subsequent finishing operations may inevitably lead to undesired dirtying of the main frame of the door opening, which in turn causes additional work. Since the door interface itself is particularly critical for the costs of the entire lift installation, these additionally occurring operations at the door opening lead to massively higher costs for installing.
The invention has the object of proposing a method for installing of a shaft door and insertion frame for carrying out the method, which do not have the aforesaid disadvantages and which enable a quick, more accurate and tidy installing of the shaft doors.
This object is met by the features of claim 1 and claim 9.
An advantage is to be seen in that a millimetre-exact mounting of the insertion frame is possible, in which the prefabricated shaft door frame can later be precisely inserted. No refinishing operations at the wall are necessary.
Advantageous developments and improvements of the method indicated in claim 1 and the insertion frame indicated in claim 9 are possible by the measures expressed in the dependent claims.
The insertion frame can serve as a reference plane for the concreting. This has the advantage that a smooth, refined and improved finishing of the definitive shaft door opening can take place.
A further advantage is to be seen in that the joining capability between the shaft door and the insertion frame, i.e. between sheet metal and sheet metal, is better than in the case of the conventional junction of concrete to sheet metal. This is achieved by the fact that the jig can be of sheet metal.
Overall, the invention has the following further advantages: No screws and bolts are necessary for positioning of the insertion frame in the rough shaft door wall. Material and assembly time are thereby saved.
A time dependence between the team of masoners/plasterers and team of lift engineers is avoided. The two teams can plan their work independently of one another and perform it without interruption.
A higher degree of preparatory work can be achieved by the method according to the invention.
Almost everything can be installed in the dry state.
At the end of the assembly only a minimum air gap remains between shaft door frame and shaft door opening, which does not give rise to expensive refinishing.
All explained features are usable not only in the respectively indicated combination, but also in other combinations or individually without departing from the scope of the invention.
Different embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the schematic drawings and explained in more detail in the following description, in which: shows a global illustration of a jig in a rough shaft door opening according to the invention, shows an insertion frame of a jig according to one embodiment of the invention, shows a positioning element which is usable with the insertion frame according to Figure 1 , shows a side view of the positioning element of Figure 3, shows a shaft door opening with an already fixed insertion frame according to Figure 1 , shows a partial plan view of the interface of shaft door frame and definitive shaft door opening. shows a jig in the unassembled state, shows the positioning of a jig in the rough shaft door opening and shows a form of embodiment of a further fastening means.
Figure 1 shows a global illustration of a jig 1 , which comprises an insertion frame 2 and a positioning element 3. The insertion frame 2 is detachably connected with the positioning element 3. In that case the positioning element 3 is disposed within the insertion frame 2. The jig 1 is inserted in a shaft door opening RS which is rough at the building side and wider by quite a few centimetres.
Figure 2 shows in more detail the insertion frame 2 of the jig 1 , which is used for the accurate installing of a shaft door 11 of a lift. The insertion frame 2 has a substantially rectangular form and is preferably made of sheet metal. The insertion frame can preferably be constructed to be of three members, i.e. it can have two vertical lateral profile members 21 and an upper horizontal profile member 22. The assembly of these profile members forms the rectangular insertion frame 2. The periphery of the insertion frame 2 substantially corresponds with the size of the shaft door 11 to be subsequently inserted. Fixing tongues 4, which serve for fixing of the insertion frame with the wall of the lift shaft, are present on the outer side of the insertion frame 2. The fixing tongues 4 lie parallel to the peripheral surface of the. insertion frame 2. In the. installed state the fixing tongues 4 are, thereagainst, bent out in order to be set obliquely relative to the peripheral surface of the insertion frame 2. One end E1 of the fixing tongue 4 remains fixed to the insertion frame 2 and the other end E2 of the fixing tongue 4 is spaced by an angle a relative to the upright of the insertion frame 2.
Figure 3 shows a positioning element 3 which, together with the insertion frame 2, forms the jig 1. The positioning element 3 has in this embodiment a lefthand longitudinal rod 5 and a righthand longitudinal rod 6 which are connected together by three transverse rods 7 substantially equidistant in height. The positioning means 3 further comprises fastening, means^by means of which the insertion frame 2 is fastened to the positioning element 3. The positioning element 3 has further reference elements 14 which are mounted on the longitudinal rods 5, 6 by further fastening means 15.
In Figure 3a there is indicated a side view of the position element 3 in which the reference elements 14 are clearly apparent. Each reference element 14 has a reference mark M which is formed as a line, marking or groove. These reference elements 14 are used for precise positioning of the jig 1 and in this example are pivotably mounted at the longitudinal rods 5, 6. They can in fact be brought from a rest state, where they are arranged substantially parallel to the respective longitudinal rods 5, 6, to a work state, where they are arranged substantially perpendicularly to the respective longitudinal rods 5, 6. For example, this movement is denoted by P in Figure 3a. The jig 1 is correctly positioned with the help of a plumb line L suspended in the shaft or a laser beam. The plumb line L is positioned in alignment with the reference marks M of the reference elements 4 disposed in work state.
Figure 4 shows a shaft door 11 in installed state. The insertion frame 2 is installed in the definitive shaft door opening 9, wherein the fixing tongues 4, which have been moved out, are concreted into the shaft door wall 10. The shaft door wall 10 is filled up with concrete by the masoner in the direction of the shaft door opening until the insertion frame edge 2.1 is reached (see, also, Figure 5). At the conclusion, the inner surface O of the definitive shaft door opening 9 will be partly of concrete (direction of corridor G) and partly provided by the insertion frame 2 (direction of shaft S). The insertion frame is thus hardly visible from the outside. That means that on looking from the corridor G exactly in perpendicular direction relative to the shaft door surface, the insertion frame 2 is not visible. The inner surface O of the definitive shaft door opening 9 is aligned in perpendicular direction relative to the shaft door surface with the insertion frame edge 2.1 (see, also, Figure 5). This detail is, for the sake of simplicity, indicated only partly in Figure 4 (detail A). The concreting is preferably carried out in this manner over the entire periphery of the insertion frame 2. The shaft door frame 12 fits in the definitive shaft door opening 9 formed by the insertion frame 2. There is present between the insertion frame 2 and the shaft door frame 12 only a small air gap 13, which at the end of the installing can be easily stopped up with, for example, silicon.
Figure 6 shows the jig in still unassembled state. The three profile members 21 , 22 of the insertion frame 2 are mounted at the circumference of the positioning element 3.
It is apparent from Figure 7 how a clamping device 16 aligns and holds the jig 1 in a rough shaft opening. The clamping device 16 is tightened between ceiling D and floor B. The clamping device 16 supports the clamping dovico 1-6 with the help of brackets 17.
Figure 8 shows a possible form of embodiment of a further fastening means 15, which is provided with a thread 18 and a wingnut 19.
The method for installing shaft doors looks substantially as follows: In order to form the jig 1 , the insertion frame 2 is fastened at the positioning element 3 (see Figure 6). The jig 1 is then installed in the rough shaft door opening RS of the lift shaft S so that the insertion frame 2 can be positioned at the correct location. The jig 1 is oriented between the ceiling and the floor of a storey and clamped by means of clamping devices 16 (see Figure 7). The jig 1 is thus inserted at the correct location with the assistance of a clamping device and without any use of screws or bolts. The fixing tongues 4 of the insertion frame 2 are then pulled out so that they lie in the space R between the insertion frame 2 and the rough shaft door opening wall RS adjacent thereto. The masoner will then fill out the space R between the insertion frame 2 and the rough shaft door opening wall RS with, for example, concrete. The fixing tongues 4 are thus also concreted in place. The insertion frame 2 serves for the masoner as a reference plane for the concreting and substantially simplifies the work by him. The masoner will fill the shaft door opening wall in the direction of the shaft door opening with concrete until he has reached the insertion frame edge 2.1. The insertion frame 2 is thus fixed with the shaft wall. The positioning element 3 is then removed from the insertion frame 2 so that the prefabricated shaft door 11 can later be inserted into the definitive shaft door opening 9. The shaft door 11 comprises the shaft door frame 12 and preferably door panels 12'. The positioning element 3 can then be used for further storeys. The minimum air gap 13 between the shaft door frame 12 and definitive shaft door opening 9 can, as stated, be stopped up in problem-free manner with a sealing substance, for example with silicon.
Since the shaft door frame 12 and the insertion frame 2 consist of the same material, preferably of sheet metal, the junction capability of door frame to insertion frame, thus sheet metal to sheet metal, is better and cleaner than the conventional junction of sheet metal to concrete. The subsequent finishing operations are considerably simplified and all happen in one working phase, where the concrete is already dry. This leads to a cleaner installation.
