Abstract
The invention pertains to a flame resistant ceramic-insulatable compound containing at least a ceramic-insulating cable filler, at least melting, rehardening, ceramic-insulating or cristallizing components, the fusion of which occurs at a lower temperature than the sintering temperature of the ceramic-insulating cable filler, as well as other auxiliary agents and addition agents. The inventive compound is suitable for making cables that are flame-proof in the sense that their insulation and/or function are preserved in case of a fire, and for making flame-proof connection sheathes and distribution panel boxes as well as fire-blocking layers for fire prevention.
