Abstract

This invention relates to toys for children. Particularly, the invention provides biblical information through a recording device inside a toy that can be heard once the device is pushed in different places located on the toy; such as the arm, leg, hand or ear. The advantage of the toy is that it will recite the biblical information in a youthful way so that the children can understand the meaning of the different scriptures and stories; and it will be safe enough for the children to play with the toy and not cause any harm to them.

Description

Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a unisex Christian toy open to all children.

Background to the Invention io Plush toys also known as stuffed toys have been popular with both children and adults since the nineteenth century. Plush toys are usually made in shape of animals. The most popular design up to date is Teddy bear. A main purpose for plush toys is to entertain children.

Throughout the years there have been many attempts to improve the appeal of such toys to both parents and children by adding features to the toy, for example adding messages which will be entertaining and instructive at the same time for example quoting Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs.

The language of such messages has to be simple and easily understood by children. In addition to its functional features the toys have to be safe to use.

Accordingly, there exists a need for a plush toy which will contain these inspirational 25 biblical messages and be addressed to children from more then one culture or nationality, these messages derived from within the toy by software reading the SD Card, written in a proprietary fashion so as to ensure only messages created for the product can be played via the SD Card Reader on the plush toy produced by the manufacturer, 64 5 5 Statement of Invention With this invention provided, a plush toy will compromise of; A soft material, plush; Small balls for stuffing the toy allowing it to be soft and squishy.

An assembly structure of: 1 Body, 1 neck, 1 head, 2 legs, 2 arms.

The advantages of the invention are the materials and items used, the plush toy will have a lower age limit to ensure that it wiii not create a choking hazard (due to the size of SD Card) or harm to the child in any way, it will recite the inspirational, biblical information and mini songs in a youthful way so that the children can understand the meaning of the different scriptures and stories and the messages/mini songs can be vetted prior to the SD Card being inserted by the parent or guardian. so The toy will have an Audio Player inside connected to buttons positioned in different places on the embodiment (the hand, foot), so that when you press that particular spot It will rehearse inspirational messages, mini songs and biblical information such as; The Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments or Scriptures for example 1 Corinthians 13 which speaks of love.

The toy will have a built in SD Card Reader, so parents will be able to purchase directly from the outlet or download messages or biblical quotations in different languages from the manufacturer’s website. Playing the purchased audio files from the SD Card supplied with the toy once inserted into the SD Card Reader.

Detailed description of the Drawings The present invention has the form of a piush toy/doil 1 comprising an SD Card/Audio so Function 15 with speaker 16 and SD Card Reader 20. Assembly of plush toy 1 comprises of body 11, head 7, neck 8, right arm 9, left arm 10, right leg 12 & left leg 13 in quantities of one each. The invention is designed for children of age two and upwards.

As long as operator will continue to push the buttons, toy will continue to repeat several various random Inspirational, Bibie/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs. Parents can decide which Inspirational, Bibie/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs or in what language Inspirational, Bible/Biblica! verses, messages and mini songs should be heard by downloading chosen audio files from the website or by purchasing a manufactured SD Card from the outlet supplying the toy, inserting a new or revised SD Card into the toy's SD Card Reader 20. The SD Card Reader can be found underneath zipper 14 on the back of the doll 1. All quotes, stories and mini songs (such as story of Ruth, Solomon etc...) and prayers included in the invention will be recited verbatim from 100 the Holy Bible/publisher that is available to everyone so that children can re-verify that information is correct as they get older.

To work properly invention needs batteries 19 which should be inserted into battery compartment 17. Battery compartment is located inside the toy 1 and can be accessed by undoing a zip 14 located at the back of the toy. 105 The invention wili be available in a number of variations, like angel 1a with two plush wings 21, mother 1 b holding a baby 22 in upright position or father 1c holding a baby 22 in upright position. Each doll 1a, 1b, 1c will be dressed in nativity clothes 23a, 23b, 23c which will suggest a religious intention ofthe toy.

Claims

1. A plush toy capable of reciting biblical information comprising: an assembly structure of a body (11), neck (8), head (7), left arm (10), right 5 arm (9), left hand (10a), right hand (9a), left leg (13), right leg ¢12), left foot (13a), and right foot (12a), in quantities of at least one each, manufactured from a plush material; an internal stuffing assembly of small pieces of plush material to enable the toy to be pliable; io a battery operated audio player (15) with a built in SD card reader (20) and speaker (16) positioned in the main body of the toy, wherein the SD card reader contains software to ensure only specific manufacturer messages can be played; an activation button (2) to allow the toy to be switched from the on' 1 '' mode 15 to the off mode; a main activation button (11) positioned on the external surface of the main body of the toy, which allows the toy to be turned on/off; secondary activation buttons (3, 4, 5, 6) positioned on the external surface of the right hand (9a), left hand (10a), right foot (12a) and left foot (13a), 20 connected to the audio player (15) by wires (18), which allow activation of the audio player (15).

A plush toy capable of reciting biblical information as claimed In claim 1, wherein: audio files stored on the SD card reader may be down loaded from the 25 manufacturer's website, the SD card reader being manufactured to only allow these down loaded (or preloaded by the manufacturer) audio files to be played.

3. A plush toy capable of reciting biblical information as claimed in claim 2, wherein the assembly structure of the body may further comprise two plush wings (21), an 30 attached baby figure ¢22), and be optionally dressed in appropriate nativity clothing [23a, 23b, 23c).
