Abstract

A non-rewirable electrical plug comprises an electrically insulating base (10), conductor pins mounted in slots in the base, a base cover welded to the base to prevent access to lead connections with the pins on an inner side of the base, and a fuse cover which in a closed position prevents access to a fuse cavity which opens out of the outer side of the base. The fuse cover (46) comprises trunnions (46) by means of which it is pivotally mounted adjacent the outer side of the base. The trunnions rest on shelves (58) of the base. Arms (70) depend from the base cover through slots (56) in the base to overlie the shelves (58) and define, with the base, housings for retention of the trunnions. <IMAGE> [GB2092836A]
