Abstract
1502742 Aerating liquids SIMON-HARTLEY Ltd 22 Nov 1976 [10 Jan 1976] 00927/76 Heading B1C A rotatable surface aerator has a support member in the form of a flat plate 10 having a plurality of angularly spaced blades 15 secured to its underside, each blade having a maximum depth intermediate its ends and a plate 16 secured to its lower edge and extending on both sides of the blade at least between its outer end and the position of maximum depth. There is preferably a baffle situated beneath the aerator to prevent rotational flow of liquid beneath it; the baffle may consist of four vertical plates forming a cross, see Fig 4. (not shown).
