Abstract

1445492 Ash receptacle G G H COWPER 10 Feb 1975 [20 Feb 1974] 7693/74 Heading A2M An ash receptacle includes a container 1 and a stem 6 extending parallel to the opening in the container and having a clip 3 by which it may be attached to a gear lever. The container, stem and clip may comprise a single integral moulding. Alternatively the clip is a metal spring clip bolted to a plastics coated metal stem. An upstanding portion of the stem is then inserted in a socket in the container. The stem and container may be connected by means of a lockable universal joint so that the attitude of the container may be adjusted. [GB1445492A]
