Abstract

A slow sedimentation rate fertiliser suspension of N:P:K =(1-24):(5.32):(0-30) ratio and also contg. mineral (raw) phosphate has suspended particles of less, than 0.8mm dia. particle size and a pH of 8.0-9.0. Active raw phosphates not exceeding 30% of the total P2O2 content, are added to customary nutrients as N, P2O2 and K2O from mineral sources, together with ammonia, urea, monoammonium-phosphate and potassium chloride. Sedimentation is retarded by addn. of bentonite of 30% minimum montmorillonite content.
