Abstract
Method involves passing a heat transfer medium through a primary heat transfer circuit (A) of a typical heating vessel such as an autoclave to create the required heating conditions. The heat transfer medium is passed through the space in the vessel allocated to it, for example the heating jacket of an autoclave. The temp. of the heat transfer medium is varied as required, by taking a portion from the primary circuit to a secondary circuit where it is heated in heat exchanger or cooled in heat exchanger before it is returned to the primary circuit. - The equipment comprises an autoclave opt. with a mixer. A heat exchanger space opt. in the form of a heating jacket, prim. heat transfer circuit with at least one sec. heat transfer circuit.
