Atalálmány ABCG2-fehérje rovarsejtekben - mint más, működőképes, közelirokon ABC-transzportertől mentes rendszerben - történő in vitroexpresszióján alapul. Közelebbről, a találmány tárgyát képezi eljáráshatóanyagok tesztelésére ABCG2-fehérjére gyakorolt hatásukszempontjából, izolált ABCG2-homooligomerek, előnyösen homodimerek,aktív ABCG2-t tartalmazó rovarsejt-membránpreparátumok ésalkalmazásuk, reagenskészletek hatóanyagok tesztelésére és eljárásABCG2-aktivitás azonosítására biológiai mintában az ABCG2 szubsztrát,illetve inhibitorspecifitás kihasználásával.
