Subject matter of the invention

A control system that, during its operation, prevents, on the one hand, customers or others from bringing weapons or other metal objects suitable for attack into the area of the financial institution branch, outside the circle of those specifically authorized to do so. On the other hand, if someone attempts to attack the branch with an object made of non-metal, e.g. plastic weapons, or even with their bare hands, their escape becomes impossible until the police arrive.

Its areas of application are bank branches; financial institutions, public buildings and any institution where, for any reason or due to its nature, the institution itself or its employees are particularly exposed to attack.

It is important to present the invention to a wider audience as it spreads, thus creating a very strong preventive effect.

State of the art

1) Electrically operated glass door also equipped with a mechanical lock that can be operated in the event of a technical failure.

2) A frame developed for detecting metal objects, which, when stepped on, indicates if the person being checked has a metal object on their body or clothing.

3) An alarm system that is activated by the security guard in the event of an attack. The police are notified of the attack via the institute's existing police hotline.

Successfully executed attacks prove that, on their own or when not used in the right system, they are not suitable for effective protection. They do not solve the task, they are not functional.

In the event that only the street is separated from the financial institution by a glass door and even that is not bulletproof, the attacker(s) will already be in the branch area with their weapon after entering. This means that they can immediately disarm the security guard and take him or others hostage to carry out the robbery.

Considering the hostage situation, police intervention also becomes very risky. Examples show that it is precisely because of these factors that successful robberies are common.

The task to be solved

Given the fact that, according to the state of the art, both metal object detection inspection frames and bulletproof glass doors have been used as protective devices to a maximum extent, they have not provided any protection.

The task is to set up a control protection system that, when applied,

1) It prohibits a client or other outsider, such as a mechanic, from bringing a weapon into the institute's premises;

2) You cannot attack the security guard. If necessary, carry out the attack with his weapon;

3) If someone attempts an attack with a plastic weapon, they should not be able to escape until the police arrive.

The recognition

The solution was led by the realization that previously unsolved problems can be eliminated by properly applying and systematizing the technical tools already known and applied in detail.

1) Clients or other unauthorized persons may not bring weapons or dangerous metal objects into the facility. These objects must be placed in a drawer in the security booth, in a clearly visible location, opposite the security guard. (E.g., a licensed self-defense weapon.)

2) The security guard works behind a bulletproof glass wall at all times. This means he is completely protected and impossible to attack.

3) In the event of a possible attack by a client who has entered the institution through the inner bulletproof glass door with a non-metallic, plastic weapon, the security guard will simply not open the glass door separating the “inner” cubicle from the institution, nor the “outer” one connecting the cubicle to the street, but

- notify the police;

- he can enter the branch area through the door separating his workplace from the branch area and restrain the attacker with his bare hands, or possibly with a weapon in his hand, until the police arrive.

If two or more people attempt an attack, it is definitely better to stay in your cubicle to prevent them from taking hostages and robbing you by obtaining your service weapon.

TWO-WAY CONTROL CABIN ENTRY SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AGAINST ATTACKS

For high-traffic financial institution branches, a one-way checkpoint solution is not suitable because it slows down the flow of customers entering and leaving the institution. In addition, if a large number of customers pass through the checkpoint, the security guard operating the system is exposed to a significantly higher load. An important circumstance may escape his attention sooner, which in some cases could lead to a fatal error.

Therefore, where traffic demands it and the building design allows it, a two-way solution should be used.

Inbound passenger traffic must be handled through the same control booth as the one used for the one-way system.

Inside the building, a booth must be set up next to the entrance door, with both the entrance (street) glass door and, if possible, the interior door opposite it (the one connecting the booth to the institution) made of bulletproof glass. On one side of the booth, the security guard's workplace is also protected by bulletproof glass. Opposite it is the cabinet wall, which in the two-way system is also the partition between the entry booth and the exit booth. The client going in puts his belongings in the cabinet on that side and, when coming out, opens the cabinet on the other side with the same key. This way, he can easily retrieve his belongings.

In the two-way system, a metal detection frame is also located in front of the inner door. Only after this can the client enter the institution. So, the two adjacent cubicles are separated by a metal cabinet wall.

At one, the customer enters, the security guard closes the door, and the customer then places the items they are not allowed to bring into the bank in a locker.

When coming out, he enters the other compartment, if everything is in order, he walks to the locker and opens the locker from this side. Advantageous solution

It is an advantageous solution if we take into account the possibilities of the building when designing the booth/booths. The previously designed porter booths, existing walls, etc., so we can save on the materials and labor costs when setting up the booth. The outer and inner doors, as well as the glass wall protecting the security guard, are bulletproof.

The security guard moves the glass doors, opens and closes them alternately from a separate workstation and a control panel designed for this purpose.

A magnetic inspection frame that detects metal objects is placed in the booth. Clients can only enter the institute area unarmed after passing through this.

When the customer arrives at the street entrance door, he signals his arrival and intention to enter by pressing the momentary switch button prepared for this purpose. As long as he keeps the button pressed, a colored /red/ light on the security guard's control panel lights up. This way, the security guard immediately detects him. If the booth is empty, he immediately opens the door and the control booth begins to operate.

When the client has finished his work and wishes to leave, he stands inside the cashier area in front of the door separating the booth from the institute. He presses the momentary switch button installed for this purpose. As long as he keeps it pressed, the circuit is closed.

A colored /green/ indicator light will light up on the security guard's control panel.

A security guard looks through the glass door from his booth and sees the customer wanting to enter the booth. If the booth is empty and there is nothing unusual, he opens the door. The customer enters the booth. This begins the exit process.

In the case of the PASSENGER SYSTEM, due to the separate inbound and outbound traffic, the system operates significantly faster. This is also required by the customer traffic. The two compartments are separated by a row of cabinets.

The dividing cabinet row is made of metal. It can be opened and locked on both sides with the same code or key.
