Abstract
ÓThe subject of the invention is a method and apparatus for extracting a dry residue in a liquid suspension and/or solution containing volatile substances, especially in an aqueous substance, by evaporation. The essence of the procedure is that a) the material to be treated (M) is applied in the form of a thin layer to the smooth and hot top plate (10) of a heat exchanger wall (1), which top plate (10) is previously heated to a sufficiently high temperature so that the volatile substances in the material to be treated and/or water evaporate quickly, which hot heat exchanger wall (1) is periodically moved in a closed circuit; b) the material (M) located in a thin layer on the hot top sheet (10) is pressed together, then smoothed, thereby pulverizing and spreading it; and c) at the end of each period, the solid and dry residue (2) is removed from the hot top plate (10) by scraping. The volume of the material to be treated (M) is significantly increased immediately before its application, thereby creating a foamy material, and the thus obtained foamy material is applied in a thin layer form to the hot upper plate (10). The device according to the invention) contains a heat exchanger wall (1) moving periodically in a closed orbit, which has a smooth and hot top plate (10), which top plate (10) also contains a crushing and spreading crushing device (3) and a scraping tool (4).
