Abstract
The thermal efficiency of nuclear reactors is improved by superheating gas or steam working media after they absorbed the nuclear reactor heat, but prior to entering gas or steam turbines. Superheating is carried out to a required temperature by conventional non-fission fuels, preferably by burning coal or gas, in a suitable heat exchanger. The superheater is placed in the same cooling circuit of the reactor where steam or gas turbines are also found.
