Abstract
Topically applied sulphur containing preparation suitable for treating fungal infections on scalps, various areas of skin and nails, contains (all wt.%-s based on completed product): 18-25 pharmaceutical sulphur, 8-15 ''Phlogosan'' ointment (ex pharmacy), 15-25 ''Alsol'' creme (Aluminium acetotartrate), less than 5 sodium benzoate, 5-15 body-compatible oils (as liquid paraffin, calendula- and pumpkin-seed-oils forming 50% pt of a lard based preparation). Components exert a synergistic fungicide, anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, antiseptic and epithelising effect.
