Abstract

A disposable thermal knee wrap comprises >= 1 piece of flexible material having a body portion, a first end, a second end, and one or more elastic portions between the first and second ends. The elastic portion is stretchable along a longitudinal axis of the piece of flexible material, the piece of flexible material having a length great enough to encircle a user's knee such that the first and second ends overlap. The wrap has >= 1 thermal pack, in which the thermal packs have a unified structure comprising >= 1 continuous layer of the semirigid material having a tensile strength of >= 0.7 (preferably >= 0.85) g/mm2 and >= 2-dimensional drape at a temperature of 25 [deg]C, and in which the material has a tensile strength, at a temperature of >= 35 [deg]C, substantially less than the tensile strength of the material at 25 [deg]C. Individual heat cells are spaced apart and fixed within or to the unified structure of the thermal pack, and a fastening means, preferably a reclosable fastening means, more preferably a reclosable hook-and-loop fastening system, most preferably a two-part hook-and-loop fastening system, in order to hold the thermal knee wrap around the user's knee.
