Ezek a bemetszések előnyös módon négycsavarvonalat (8) képeznek a csavarszár körül. A találmány szerintifacsavar könnyebben és ezért gyorsabban hatol be a fába, és ugyanakkormegmaradnak a kiszakítás elleni jó tulajdonságai.
