Abstract

An electric resistance arrangement (2) includes at least one resistance element (1) fitted with at least one meander-shaped sheet-metal strip (3). Insulating elements (4,20) hold the resistance elements (1) in the region of the curved ends (2) of the meander-shaped strips. The insulating elements (4,20) are arranged column-wise, and the insulation resistance can be increased to at least 5 Mohm between the resistance elements (1) which at times are carrying voltage and the vehicle, during wet conditions.
