A találmány tárgya a Penarl fajtanevű muskátlihibrid (Pelargonium zonale hybrid) bíborszínü, telt virágokat növesztő, középzöld lombozatú különleges növény.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a peculiar hybrid plant of the species Penarl geranium (Pelargonium zonale hybrid), which has a purple, medium flowering, medium-green foliage.
A muskátli nemcsak az egész világon, de hazánkban is igen elterjedt dísznövény. A Pelargonium fajták jellegzetes illatú, aszimmetrikus virágú félcserjék. Elterjedését elősegítette a morfológiai igénytelensége, jó alkalmazkodó képessége, dugványozással történő szaporíthatósága és hosszan tartó tetszetős virágzás.Geranium is a widely used ornamental plant not only throughout the world but also in Hungary. Pelargonium varieties have a characteristic scent, with asymmetrical flowers. Its propagation was facilitated by its low morphology, good adaptability, propagation by cuttings and long-lasting flowering.
Már Linné is foglalkozik a muskátlival (Species Plantarum. 1753). Az első hibridekről Dollanius tesz említést. Művében a Pelargonium inguinans és a Pelargonium zonale keresztezésével nemesített hibridet írja le. Az irodalom 1800-ban 200, 1830-ban már 500 fajtát említ, de a mai szakvélemény is 300 körülire becsüli a széles körben termesztett fajták számát, a több száz helyileg kialakított eltérő típus mellett.Linné already deals with geraniums (Species Plantarum. 1753). Dollanius mentions the first hybrids. In his work he describes a hybrid of the hybrid of Pelargonium inguinans and Pelargonium zonale. Literature mentions 200 varieties in 1800 and 500 in 1830, but today's expert opinion estimates the number of widely cultivated varieties to be around 300, besides hundreds of locally produced varieties.

A magonc fajtát a 90K-5-60 jelű szülőből csoportos beporzással és szelekcióval 1990-ben Drezdában nemesítették. A fajtát vegetatívan, dugvánnyal lehet szaporítani.The seedlings of the 90K-5-60 parent were bred in 1990 in Dresden by group pollination and selection. The variety can be propagated vegetatively by cuttings.
