Description

The present invention relates to a top-inking stamping device, with a housing, in which, first of all, a replaceable ink pad is placed, and which has two side parts, in which there is a stamp cartridge, which by means of a driving part, which outgrows the housing, can be adjusted between the position in which it takes the ink from the ink pad, and returns it to the impression position by means of a reversing mechanism, the actuating part being biased by a pressure spring against the impression cartridge housing.

Stamping devices of this type are used, for example, to print company names. Until now, it was not possible with a stamping device with the addition of color from above, when changing the size of the stamping plate, i.e. the width of the stamp cartridge, to leave the entire height of the device unchanged, i.e. the wider the printing plate, the higher the housing , that is, the entire sealing device. With previously known sealing devices, the print was, moreover, highly dependent on the person serving it, i.e. on the printing pressure, so that a uniform print quality was not obtained.

This invention aims to show the type of sealing device described at the beginning, which without increasing the overall height of the performance enables a wide area of application of stamp prints. The sealing device according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that the housing of the sealing device is connected, primarily separable, to a flat base, which extends at right angles to the housing and has a central through hole for the seal cartridge as well as on its lower side for receiving a special , a pre-painted seal plate, which includes a through hole.

In this way, a combined sealing device is created, the upper part of which works as a stamp on the principle of adding color from above, opposite the lower part of the sealing device equipped with an additional seal plate, which contains the stored sealing color, of the upper part of the seal. The invention thereby enables large stamp prints at will and allows the entry of, for example, a date stamp in the upper part.

According to the embodiment of the invention, which is preferred, the base on its lower side shows the further possibility of accepting springs, which protrude over the lower side of the base as spacers and can be pressed against the base on the impression surface when the impression plate is inserted, i.e. produce a bias springs of the base with respect to the printing surface. This ensures a complete and flawless print. Leaf springs, as it suits the purpose, are made primarily of plastic mass, on their upper side along the longitudinal middle they carry a sleeve, which is anchored in the base. The base, which receives already colored stamp plates, can be made as a hollow body in the form of a lid with a closed upper side, which in its interior has receivers for impression plates and springs. In connection with the appropriate calculation of spiral and leaf springs, the combination according to the invention can always ensure the same print quality.

According to a further feature of the invention, the connection between the upper and lower parts is made in such a way that the side parts of the housing are primarily releasably inserted into the sockets protruding from the base upwards. This gives an important advantage, that the upper part can be easily combined with lower parts of different sizes.

The essential advantage of the sealing device according to the invention in the case of applying a date stamp insert lies in the fact that, due to the addition of color from the upper side, a clean image of the print is always ensured by simply changing the coloring pad. The fact that the sealing device according to the invention has a larger, already colored stamp plate installed in the lower part, enables easy handling of the sealing device. In case of a faded print, the stamp plate can be replaced with a new one, or if necessary, the entire lower part can be changed.

The sealing device shown in Figure 1 has an upper part 1 and a lower part 2 that is releasably connected to it in a special way. The upper part 1 points to the open, parallelepiped housing 3 at the top for receiving exchangeable coloring pads 4 and the insert part of the seal, which is in the example shown date strip 5, which is inserted into the case 3 from the top. The date band 5 is provided with part 5' of a known turning mechanism and with a guide sleeve 5", which is guided in the slots 6 of the side parts of the housing 7. The second part 7' of the turning mechanism is provided on the inside of the side part of the housing 7.

A cap-shaped control part 8 can be placed on the housing 3 below the intermediate switch of the compression spring of the screw 9 and can engage above the protrusions 8' a sleeve for guiding the 5" date tape stack 5. The compression spring 9 extends from the spring seat 10, which rests on the cover 11 which is inserted into the slots 6 of the side part 7.

The lower ends of the side parts of the housing 7 are releasably inserted into the base 13 in the supports 12 and form the lower part 2 of the sealing device. The base 13 extends vertically towards the housing 3 and is built as a hollow body in the shape of a cap, in the hollow lower side of which there is a holder 13' for one not shown but colored stamp plate and holders 13" for a set of leaf springs 14, with which before using the sealing device, first place the lower part at a distance from the sealing surface.

The base 13 shows the passage opening 15, for receiving the seal, covered by the impression plate 13'.

As shown in Figure 1, different versions of the leaf springs 14, 15, and 16 are possible, all of which on the upper side in their longitudinal center carry a sleeve 14', 15', and 16', which can be clipped into the recess 13'" bases 13. In the first embodiment of the leaf spring, the springs are bent convexly upwards 14, the ends of which are bent for engagement with the corresponding grippers 13".

In another version, the leaf springs are flat springs 15, which at their ends on the lower part carry upright supports 15".

According to the third embodiment, the leaf springs are X-shaped springs 16, the arms of which are flattened at the ends.

Within the framework of the invention, instead of leaf springs, compression springs with a base 13 can be provided. Leaf springs 14-16 and compression spring 9 can be adjusted with respect to their spring force and adjusted to each other, so that it is always uniform, about the user completely independent print quality.

Fig. 2 shows the sealing device in the pressed position of use, immediately prior to use of the date strip 5 under the impression of the X-shaped leaf springs 16 shown here in the corresponding holder 13" on the impression surface F.

It is understood that the invention can be modified in a wide variety of ways within the scope of thinking about the invention, for example in the sense of making leaf springs and the movable part of the seal insert.
