Technical problem

The technical problem that is solved by this application consists in the following: how to make a collapsible container from which, when transplanting a plant, the plant could be removed from the container in a very simple way without damage and loss of time. The defined technical problem was solved by the proposed construction of a container for growing and transplanting plants.

State of the art

In the case of existing solutions of pots for plants, the construction of the pot itself consists of one part, from which it is usually very difficult to remove the plant without damaging it. Since it strengthens the root of the plant over time, very often the container has to be broken due to difficulties when removing the plant and time is wasted.

The goal of the solution according to this application is to construct such a container for plants, which will be able to be disassembled into parts with simple handling, so that the plant and the soil around the plant remain undamaged. After removing the plant and emptying the rest of the contents, the container can be reassembled and ready for reuse. This saves on the containers themselves (we don't have to break the container due to the impossibility of removing the plant from it), and saves time. The great advantage of such a container solution is that the container, i.e. its internal collapsible parts, can also be used with already existing containers for plants, which gives these containers the same characteristics as the invented container.

Description of the solution to the technical problem

The construction solution of the collapsible container for plants, according to this invention, provides that the invented container consists of three parts. The container is made up of: the shell of the container and two inserts of the container. The mantle has the shape of existing containers for plants, but with the essential characteristic that it is bottomless. The inserts of the pot for plants are of the same shape as the mantle, only a few millimeters narrower than the mantle of the invented pot and are cut along the bisector of their height so that they fit into the mantle of the pot and thus together with the mantle form the invented pot for plants. The inserts on their lower part have an opening at the bottom for draining excess water from the container. The advantages of this technical plant container solution compared to existing plant containers are as follows:

1) Faster, easier and better method of transplanting compared to existing types of containers.

2) When removing the plant from the invented container, the plant is not damaged.

3) When removing the plant, the soil around the plant is not scattered to a greater extent on the side, but remains with the plant, giving it the necessary nutrients for growth until the plant gets used to the new habitat.

4) Due to reduced or no spreading of the soil when removing the plant from the container, the working surface is lubricated to a lesser extent or not at all, so transplanting can be done in the apartment, which is not usual.

5) The emptied container is easier to clean from the remains of the plant and soil that were in the container.

6) By unfolding the container, we can check the humidity of the soil around the plant, which cannot be seen with existing containers without the plant and the soil around it being damaged and scattered.

7) By unfolding the container, we can check the size of the plant's roots and thus determine when the plant is ready to be transplanted into a larger container or into the ground.

8) By unfolding the container, we can allow the roots of the plant to reach the necessary oxygen, and in this way the growth of the plant is enhanced.

The invented container consists of three parts. Basic containers (A) and two identical inserts (B,C). The basic container (A) has no bottom and is not fixedly connected to the inserts (B,C). The inserts (B, C) have a bottom (BI, CI) with an opening (B2, C2) on their lower part, and together they form a container that is inserted into the base container (A). The inserts (B, C) are a few millimeters narrower than the shell (I) of the base container (A), and are cut along the bisector of the height. Inserts (B, C) are not fixedly connected either to each other or to the base container (A). The bisectors of the height of the inserts (B, C) are the same length as the height of the mantle (I) of the base vessel (A). Note: (the shape of the container is not subject to protection, but belongs to the known state of the art, and only one of the existing shapes of containers for plants is shown on the attached drawings). The invention can be applied to most forms of existing plant containers.

If the shape of the base container (A) is not conical, a small raised edge (B3, C3) must be made on the inserts (B, C) during production on their upper part so that they do not fall through the shell (I) of the base container (A). During the process of planting a plant in the invented container, the following happens:

Inserts (B, C) are placed from above into the mantle (I) of the base container (A) fig.3a, with their bottoms (BI, CI) facing down into the base container (A). Inserts (B, C) placed in the mantle (I) of the basic container (A) form one whole - invented container (fig. 3b). The plant is placed in the container assembled in this way and the soil is filled in (fig. 3c). This gives us a planted plant in an invented container (Fig. 3d).

During the process of removing the plant from the invented container, the following happens:

Push the inserts (B, C) with the contents (plant) upwards through the lower part of the mantle (I) of the base container (A), which is bottomless, with your hand or some object (fig. 4a). Inserts (B, C) with their contents are removed from the mantle (I) of the basic container (A) (fig. 4b) and separated from the plant inside them (fig. 4c). At the end, we are left with the removed plantation with soil (fig. 4d) ready for further planting in another medium and that completely undamaged.

Statement on the best way for commercial use of the reported invention

To achieve the set goal - a collapsible container for herbs, no special knowledge is required for the economic use of the subject invention, but even a layman can easily handle the invented container with the help of basic instructions. In order to achieve the additional goal of the invention, the disassembly and disassembly of the parts of the invented container, several things must be taken care of. If the base container is not conical but rectangular, or some other shape, a small protruding edge must be placed on the upper parts of the inserts during production, or in the case of containers for larger plants or small trees and additional handles for easier removal of the inserts with contents from the base container. When we use inserts in existing containers, we don't have to cut off the bottom of the containers, but it can remain, and thus we get a slightly modified version of the invented container, but with the same properties as the invented container.

Collapsible container for plants characterized by the fact that the outer shell has no bottom. 3. Collapsible container for plants characterized by the fact that the inserts together form an inner container. 4. Collapsible container for plants characterized by the fact that the inserts come inside the outer shell and together with it form the invented container. 5. Collapsible container for plants characterized by the fact that each insert has its own bottom. 6. Collapsible container characterized by the fact that there is an opening for water drainage at the bottom of each insert. 7. Collapsible pot for plants where the inserts are separated by pushing them out of the shell of the basic pot.
