1. Sustav kontrole prometa vlakova koji sadrži
sustav upravljanja prometom (TMS) za obavljanje redovitih operacija, pri čemu je sustav kontrole prometa prilagođen za provjeru dopuštenosti za redovite operacije u bilo kojem trenutku,
sustav upravljanja rutom i vlakom (RTCS), i

pri čemu sustav upravljanja prometom (TMS) sadrži ljudsko strojno sučelje za upravljanje sustavom upravljanja rutom i vlakom od strane ljudskog operatera,
pri čemu je sustav upravljanja prometom (TMS) konfiguriran za izvođenje operacija kritičnih za sigurnost, koje zaobilaze sigurnu postavku sustava upravljanja rutom i vlakom (RTCS),

pri čemu se informacije i naredbe prenose između sustava upravljanja prometom (TMS) i sustava upravljanja rutom i vlakom (RTCS) putem adaptera za naredbe i status (COST),
pri čemu sustav upravljanja prometom (TMS) sadrži ljudsko strojno sučelje za upravljanje sustavom upravljanja rutom i vlakom od strane ljudskog operatera:
pri čemu sustav kontrole prometa nadalje sadrži najmanje jednu softversku komponentu za izvođenje funkcije za kontrolu operacija kritičnih za sigurnost,
pri čemu je sustav kontrole prometa prilagođen za provjeru dopuštenosti redovnih operacija u bilo kojem trenutku,
pri čemu operacije kritične za sigurnost izvršava sustav upravljanja prometom (TMS), zaobilazeći sigurnu postavku sustava
