Veličina standardnih sustava za gašenje požara uvelike onemogućuje ugradnju sustava u sve zatvorene prostore te je njihov osnovni problem svakogodišnje skupo održavanje i servisiranje. Sustav za gašenje požara nema taj problem prvenstveno zbog svoje veličine kao i lakoće ugradnje te nema održavanja u sljedećih pet godina. Ujedno je i znatno jeftiniji od ostalih sustava.
