Over the course of a lifetime, almost every person comes to a situation where they have to take medicines, vitamins or dietary preparations at precisely defined time intervals: every three, four or more hours. When taking medicines, it is most important that the medicines are taken at the exact prescribed time, because this way the continuous concentration of the medicine in the body is guaranteed, which achieves the best effect of the treatment. It often happens that the prescribed time is skipped (someone forgets, someone falls asleep, etc.), so taking the medicine can be called sloppy, and the result is a reduced effectiveness of the treatment.

Automatic signaling device with fixed intervals, application number WO9721415 A1, of the Spanish applicant Rubio Galvez, comprises a timer connected to an acoustic and/or optical device that emits a warning signal at a predetermined frequency with its own electrical power source. energy. The mentioned components are placed in a case made of plastic material, which has an eye through which it is possible to pass a rope, belt, etc. The box is also equipped with a menu for choosing a time interval and a container for batteries. The disadvantage of this invention is that it does not have a container for medicines and similar preparations, and from the above it is concluded that the device serves primarily for alarming, which we consider insufficient, because the user of therapeutic means can forget medicines and similar preparations, regardless of what the device has.

A small watch with a special pill box, application number WO 9836726A1, by the German applicant Riek Siegfried, refers to a portable small watch, specifically a wristwatch, combined with a special box for holding and dispensing medications as needed (prescription). The special box consists of a container, adapted to the case of a wristwatch, in which it is possible to install a container that holds (keeps) the pills to be taken. The watch contains a control body that receives information about the time emitted by the watch and controls the reached displacement of the container and the signal of the transmitter. The container contains ROM memory, which consists of information related to taking pills and the transmission of said information to the control body via the interface. The sensors in the container recognize the movement of the pills towards the control body, as it were, it not only signals the regime of planned pill intake, but also monitors any deviation from a certain regime. Comparing the above presented with the subject of the application, we consider that the subject of the application is much simpler (there is no sensor /it is not clear how the displacement of the pills will be recognized considering the diversity of the geometrical shapes of the pills/, and in addition the container housing must be adapted to the watch case) both for manufacturing and and for use, while at the same time it solves the mentioned technical problem qualitatively and simply.

Description of the solution to the technical problem

In order to increase the efficiency of the treatment, i.e. taking the medicine at precisely prescribed time intervals, a pocket box with an alarm was designed to hold the necessary amount of medicine for a day or several days, whose alarm can be programmed to remind the user with a sound signal at a certain time of the time to take the medicine .

As you can see from the attached pictures, the box with an adjustable alarm for timely taking of medicines and similar preparations consists of a box (1), an insert with partitions (5) and a clock with a programmable alarm (4). The box (1) can be of various shapes (square, oval, round, etc.) and of various thicknesses. The box (1) has a casing (2) and a cover (3). Depending on the needs of the user, the box is made in several models in terms of size. The smallest dimension of the box can store one day's need for medicines or other preparations, and the largest dimension must be suitable for placement in a pocket or bag and for the box to fit all the amount of preparations that the user takes with him on a trip or on vacation.

An integral part of the box (1) is a clock with a programmable alarm (4), which is included in the box, i.e. it is integrated in the case or in the cover. A clock with a programmable alarm (4) allows measuring the elapsed time, measuring time intervals, programming time intervals and turning on the alarm.

The main parts of the programmable alarm clock:

a) The case with the display, the thickness of which is defined by the thickness of the battery, is installed on the bottom of the box or on the inner part of the cover, by gluing or pressing it into the slot provided for it. In the place where the case with the display is located, there is an open window on the lid or bottom of the box the size of the display, so that a clock for measuring the elapsed time is always visible on the outer surface of the box.

b) The switch for turning on the clock and alarm is located inside the box. It has three positions. When the switch is in the middle position, it includes setting the clock to measure the elapsed time, when the switch is in the right position, it allows setting the alarm, and when the switch is in the left position, the alarm and clock are turned off.

Setting the alarm is done using switches and buttons. The "C" key is used to set the time. When the switch is in the position for the correct time (middle position), then pressing the "C" button on the screen starts to move the time and moves for as long as that button is pressed. When the correct time appears on the screen, release the pressure on the "C" key. The clock is adjusted and it continues to run normally like any other clock. Now switch the switch to the right to set the alarm. Pressing the "C" key again starts the time. On the screen, we follow the movement of the time and when the time at which we want to activate the alarm is shown, release the pressure on the "C" key and memorize that time with the "C" key. Let's continue memorizing the alarm time in the same way (by pressing the "C" key, the time will continue to count down on the screen, and by pressing the "C" key, the time will be memorized) until we have marked all the desired times for turning on the alarm. This means: we can program the alarm to sound several times during the day when we want (eg at 6, 10, 14, 18 and 22 or at 8, 10, 14, 16, 20 and 22 etc.). There is a variant, that the alarm occurs every few hours (eg every 6 hours continuously until we turn it off). When the marking is done, the box is ready for use. An alarm will sound at the indicated time. Just open the box and the alarm goes off. If the box is not opened, the alarm is on for one minute and then turns itself off. The timer according to the program works every day at the same time. It can be reprogrammed or turned off at any time, which is also done using the mentioned buttons and switches.

Use of the box

When we receive an alarm (the box is on the table, nightstand, in a pocket, purse, etc.), we open the box, thereby turning off the alarm at the same time. The medicine is taken and the box is closed, and it will "call" again at the next preset time. As already mentioned above, the insert with partitions can be made in several ways, so the box can be used for daily needs for one drug or several drugs, which are usually taken at different times, and therefore the box has compartments with the possibility of labeling, and on the inside of the lid there is a space where you can insert a piece of paper with instructions for taking it (clearly, if necessary). The box can be used for days, because the programmed alarm is repeated daily, until it is turned off or reprogrammed. If necessary, a new alarm program (time) can be programmed every day. According to needs, the way of using the box can be supplemented for some other ways of use; then a timer with a different chip is installed.
