The field to which the invention relates

This invention refers to a button that, in addition to its primary function of a holder for pants, by a certain procedure, and thanks to its shape, acquires, in addition to the primary function, a secondary function of a partially protective means against the attempt of a certain act of sexual delict.

According to the IPC, the invention could be classified in group A 44 B.

Technical problem

Sexual crimes, i.e. rapes, either as completed spells or as attempts, are a big problem today and a threat mainly to women as a risk group. All previous forms of defense against attempted sexual offenses are mainly aimed at deterring and counteracting the attacker's body by using various means to eliminate the threat. The solution to the problem of the victim-attacker relationship is contained in the basic leitmotif:

- by using inventions, for the sake of prevention, and in normal conditions and with a simple, short-term procedure, try to maximize protection by complicating the opposite procedure in abnormal conditions.

Each one to whom the invention belongs, together with the main thing, by personal choice of the current function of the invention, adjusts his protection in accordance with the riskiness of the situations in which he is currently or will be in the future, as well as the riskiness of places with which sexual offenses are closely related.

State of the art

The applicant is not aware of the fact that in today's state of the art there is a similar device that could have the additional specified function. Buttons, which are used as a side item in the textile industry, have only one function:

- they serve as pants holders and have the property of being put into operation (fastened) by a simple action, which results, from the point of view of an attempt to commit a sexual offense, and their obvious lack

- with a simple action, they are also put out of function (unfastened) and therefore open up the possibility of direct action on the body.

Presentation of the essence of the invention

Due to the fact that it serves as an accessory to the pants as an article of clothing, and thanks to its shape and methods of making it expedient, the mentioned invention, in addition to the primary role of an ordinary button, also acquires a secondary role by a certain method of application, turning into a partial protective device against attempted actions of the aforementioned forms of offenses. The invention has two ways of application that result from two different procedures for making it purposeful.

- this way of application shows its primary function of serving as an ordinary trouser button. The body of the double-headed button by the process of screwing in position A: large head (2) - closer to the body; small head (l) - away from the body on the threaded button holder (4), which is fixed to the reinforced edge of the trousers with a presser (5), as in the current state of the art, it has the role of a "regular" button. The small head easily passes through the eyelet in the place on the pants intended for fastening, while the large head remains invisible due to the overlap of the reinforced parts of the pants.

- with this method of application, its secondary function can be observed, that in addition to the primary one, it also serves as a means for the partial prevention of sexual offenses.

By unscrewing the double-headed button from the primary position A, the body (3) together with the heads (1 and 2) is separated from the threaded support (4), which is fixed to the pants with a presser (5) to strengthen it, and the small head is first passed through the eyelet on the trousers and after that, by repeating the process of screwing on the double-headed button holder, its primary and secondary functions are combined.

With such a choice of function and procedure, the situation is achieved that the large head of the double-headed button can no longer be pushed through the eyelet on the trousers intended for fastening, and as such a unit serves both as a button-carrier and as a button with a protective function.

Due to the fact that any violent attempt to unfasten the double-headed button from the carrier requires the mandatory use of TWO HANDS, in all "one-on-one" delict situations, the use of this function of the invention has positive consequences for the victim:

- represents a sudden obstacle to the intended action

- enables the victim to have free hands and gives him the opportunity to defend himself by resistance and other means

- with the provided resistance, it maximally extends the time until the final putting out of function

- can be an essential cause of the possible abandonment of the intention to commit the tort

Description of the method of realization of the invention

The description of the method of realization of the invention derives from its functions and is visible from the exposition in the previous points of this submission.

Method of application of the invention

From the descriptions given so far, it is evident that the invention is a permanently useful tool aimed at partial protection of the personality from serious injuries to the body and spirit caused by the act of attempted rape. From the knowledge that its preventive function creates at least partial preconditions in order to preserve these personal values, its purposefulness also arises and is imposed as a necessary necessity in the form of a secondary thing to the belonging parts of clothing.

The justification for its industrial production is multiple times found in just one less permanently dishonored and spiritually destroyed victim.

Claims (9)

1. A double-headed button characterized by the fact that it consists of two heads (1) and (2), different in diameter and shape, and a body (3) with an incised thread all along the longer one; 2. Double-headed button according to claim 1, characterized in that the button heads (1) and (2) and the body (3) form a compact inseparable unit; 3. A double-headed button characterized by the fact that its integral part is a carrier (4) which can and must be fixed to strengthen the edges of the trousers; 4. Double-headed button according to claims 1 to 3, characterized by the fact that by screwing the body (3) with the heads (1) and (2), a standard button is obtained if the large head (2) is turned closer to the body, and the small head (1) is further from user bodies; 5. Double-headed button according to claims 1 to 3, indicated by the fact that by unscrewing it from the primary position and then passing the small head (1) through the hole on the pants intended for fastening, and then by repeating the screwing process on the button carrier (4), the state of the secondary button is obtained , preventive and safety position due to disabled standard disconnection procedure; 6. Double-headed button according to claims 1 to 5, characterized by the fact that the transition from the secondary to the primary position of the button is possible only by the process of unfolding from the support (4) and rotating the body (3) with the heads (1) and (2) by 180 degrees; 7. A double-headed button according to claims 1 to 6, indicated by the fact that the support (4), a body of a round profile, of adequate mechanical strength, is threaded along its entire length; 8. Double-headed button according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the small head (1) viewed separately can be of different sizes and shapes; 9.
