Abstract

The present invention provides a system (100) for automatic application of a label to a product, comprising a setup station for obtaining the product profile to design and create label templates, and an operation station (120) including a label preparation section (30), a product recognition section and a robotized label applicator for taking up and applying the label to the product. The system (100) significantly reduces the labor intensity, but is effective for positioning and applying the labels in automated manner.
