An impeller receiving cavity connecting the water inlet with the water outlet is formed in the pump body. A universal motor is arranged in the casing. An impeller disposed in the impeller receiving cavity is arranged on an output end of the universal motor. A switch for controlling the operation of the universal motor is arranged on the casing. The utility model provides an auxiliary drainage pump readily connected to a dry and wet vacuum cleaner, which may drain accumulated water in the dry and wet vacuum cleaner without the need to artificially dump it.
