The present invention discloses a lithium-ion battery pack, comprising a lithium-ion battery and a circuit protection board. The lithium-ion battery comprises a housing, which includes a substrate. The positive and negative electrodes of the protection board are electrically connected to the positive and negative electrodes of the lithium-ion battery, respectively. The insulating member around the pole extends along the outer side of the substrate and forms at least two protrusions. The protection board is fixedly set on the protrusions.The lithium-ion battery pack of the present invention simplifies the production process, reduces production costs, shortens the manufacturing cycle, and achieves miniaturization and thinning of the battery pack.

Portable electronic devices are becoming smaller and thinner, and the trend is to make batteries and battery packs as their power sources smaller, thinner, and higher in capacity. Lithium ion batteries are widely used as small-sized and high-capacity batteries because of their high voltage and high energy density, and among them, flat-square lithium ion secondary batteries are suitable for thinning of devices.
The lithium ion battery is provided with a circuit board constituting a battery protection circuit for protecting the secondary battery from overcharge or overdischarge. The circuit board and the lithium ion battery are arranged in the assembly shell together to form a battery pack which can be directly used for portable equipment.
