Abstract

A power switch control device of an elevator comprises the following components: an AC/DC converter; a smooth capacitor; an inverter which inverts DC current after smoothing to AC current; an elevator driving motor which is driven by the output of the inverter; a first switch circuit which is provided with a series circuit of a main contact and an auxiliary contact, the main contact is inserted between a commercial AC power source and a transformer and is energized in the elevator operation period, the auxiliary contact is connected with the main contact in parallel and is energized before a resistor for charging the smooth capacitor and the main contact; and a second switch circuit which is provided with a series circuit of a main contact and an auxiliary contact. The main contact is inserted between an emergency DC power source and the transformer and is energized in an emergency operation period of the elevator. The auxiliary contact is connected with the main contact in parallel and is energized before the resistor for charging the smooth capacitor and the emergency main contact. When the power of the commerical power source is off, the power switch control device of the elevator supplies power to the transformer through the second switch circuit.
